Red Vein Borneo Kratom Powder comes from the leaves of the Mitragyna speciosa kratom tree, a unique variety of the species that has been found in a number of placed, including the old growth forests of Borneo and Sumatra.
The mature leaves of the tree have characteristic red ribs on the back side and contain the alkaloids mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine. After harvest, the leaves are ground into a fine powder.
Red Vein Borneo has been compared to Red Vein Maeng Da Thai leaves, but this Borneo variety is less expensive.
The first thing that you need to know is what kratom is! Kratom is a plant. Specifically, it is a tree that is native to southern Asia where warm and wet climates help this deciduous tree grow big and strong. There are huge forests of kratom trees in Borneo, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, and other neighboring regions as well.
Kratom has been used in the areas where it is native for hundreds of years, if not longer. The tree has many traditional and medicinal uses in the areas where it is native, and the local cultures have found ways to incorporate it into their belief systems and rituals for a long time.
Our raw powders, leaf, and encapsulated products test at an average of >1.5% mitragynine.
Borneo Kratom powder is named after the place of its origin, the island of Borneo. This particular Kratom strain is available in various forms, with the red vein variety being the most common.
The color of Kratom leaves can vary significantly, and is influenced by various factors such as the time of harvest. Red Vein strains, for instance, are obtained when the leaves have reached their peak maturity. Consequently, these strains possess a distinctive chemical makeup, featuring a more potent alkaloid profile.
