Mitragyna speciosa - Maeng Da Thai Kratom Powder (White Vein)

Maeng Da Thai White-Vein Kratom powder is from the leaves of the Mitragyna speciosa kratom tree. The leaves have a characteristic network of white veins on the back of the leaf.

The Mitragyna speciosa Kratom tree contains the alkaloids mitragynine and 7-hydoxymitragynine. The white-vein and red-vein Maeng Da Thai strains have one of the higher alkaloid content levels found in the species.

The kratom tree has been cultivated and its leaves harvested by experienced growers for generations, using techniques passed down over the years.

White Vein Maeng Da is native to Thailand and is now grown in Indonesia, where it is picked and processed by local farmers, then ground into a fine powder. Maeng Da loosely translates to "pimp's grade," and it gained this nickname due to the high-quality leaves which are rich with alkaloids. White Maeng Da is known for containing an abundance of alkaloids, but lower 7-hydroxymitragynine. This is due to an only indoor, low light, and extended drying length, which gives it the white vein color.
