This material is sourced from the earthy and rich soil found in Malekula and prepared in the custom Malekula method by removing a large amount of the skin, which reduces the bitter taste normally associated with kava from other neighboring islands. A genuine peeled root and stump blend.  

Like all our kava powder products the Malekula material is milled down to a 1mm powder to maximize lactone release during preparation.
