Golden Indo leaves have more gold-brown colour than usual. Where once these leaves were mixed with the more common green leaves, they are now handled separately and are shade-dried before having the stems and heavy veins removed. The resulting crushed leaf is then ground to a powder and sifted, in order to remove remaining stem and vein material, then the resulting powder is milled to an ultra-fine consistency.
